Privacy

A brief or a question comes to us through a form. Here is what those forms collect, what we use it for, and what we leave alone.

What the forms ask for

  • On both forms: your name and email, which we need to reply, and a phone number if you choose to give one.
  • On the brief: what you need written, the topic, the keywords, your industry and the number of words. The anchor text, target URL, start date and notes are there if you want to add them.
  • On the contact form: your question.
  • With either one: the page you sent it from.

What happens to it

We use it to answer your brief or your question. We may share it with a suitable SEO content writing provider to service your request. Sending a brief places no order and takes no payment.

Your details are not sold. Nobody is added to a mailing list, and there is no newsletter here to join.

What a visit leaves behind

  • Our server counts page views: which page, which site sent you, your country, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer. Your IP address is not stored.
  • When a script on a page breaks, your browser reports the error to us with the page address and your connection type, so it can be fixed.
  • Every page loads Google Tag Manager, and through it Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show how the site is used. Google handles that data under its own terms: how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • A form that goes through tells Tag Manager which page it came from. Your name, email and brief are not in that message.

Spam

Each form carries one field hidden from people. Spam scripts fill it in, and anything that arrives with it filled is thrown away.

Asking for a copy, a correction or deletion

Use the contact form and give the name and email you sent with. Tell us whether you want a copy of what we hold, a correction, or all of it deleted.
